Food Pantry

At New Start Food Pantry, we believe in offering more than just a handout—we provide a client-choice shopping experience. Using a voucher system, families are able to select the foods that best meet their cultural, nutritional, and dietary needs, just as they would in a traditional grocery store. This approach helps preserve dignity while empowering individuals to make healthy choices for their households.

In partnership with local food banks and health organizations, New Start also offers seasonal nutrition education and cooking classes, giving families tools to prepare wholesome meals at home.

In the process of planting in our community garden, tended by dedicated volunteers, producing over 500 pounds of fresh, organic produce annually. These fruits and vegetables will be made available for families to choose from during their pantry visits, promoting access to fresh, healthy food options.

We are committed to supporting families through compassion, education, and empowerment.
